Standard Training

This is a three-day course for each engineering discipline relevant to electric drives, comprising motor design, control system design, inverter design, mechanical design, cooling system design and embedded system design.

Purpose

The purpose of each course is to enable the attendee to gain a basic understanding of the electric drive hardware components and system structure addressed by the course, together with a familiarity of the technical terms commonly used. At the end of the course, the attendee should be able to contribute to an original electric drive design regarding the aspect covered by the course.

Assumed Background

A knowledge and understanding of the engineering discipline of the selected course to a level normally gained on an undergraduate degree in engineering is assumed, or the equivalent gained through industrial experience.

Learning NEVER exhausts the mind!
